So ever since I first saw a DIY of these Margiela ripped jeans over on Style Bubble a few months ago, I've been wanting to take a pair of scissors to some of my old jeans and create my own DIY version. Unfortunately, I am the world's biggest procrastinator. I never actually got around to doing it.
That is, until about 9:30 last night when I had a sudden NEED to make them and wear them the next day. Here are the step-by-step photos of the entire process (because I like to take pictures!)
The finished product, worn plain with a white t-shirt. They need to be washed and thrown in the dryer so they can really fray, but I'm still happy with them.
And finally what I wore them with today- pink tights from Target, gray t-shirt from Wet Seal, and that black vest I end up wearing with EVERYTHING, which I got at Younkers. And I wore them with converse, which once again I forgot to put on before taking a picture (I'm always in a hurry in the morning!)
